Doby's Bridge Elementary School

At the school board meeting held Tuesday, August 22, the board voted to place a freeze on new student enrollment for all grades effective at 3:30 p.m. Friday, September 15. Students who have not completed the enrollment or registration process prior to 3:30 p.m. Friday, September 15 will be assigned to Fort Mill Elementary School.
The freeze was enacted due to the growing student population numbers as a result of new growth and development in the area. This action was taken to allow class sizes to remain at acceptable levels and not overload the building capacity.
Students using bus transportation will remain on their assigned bus and travel to Doby’s Bridge Elementary each day. The district will shuttle students from Doby’s Bridge Elementary to Fort Mill Elementary School in the morning and return them to Doby’s Bridge Elementary by shuttle in the afternoon to ride their assigned bus home.

The freezes were enacted due to the growing student population numbers as a result of new growth and development in the area. This action was taken to allow class sizes to remain at acceptable levels and not overload the building capacity.
Students using bus transportation will remain on their assigned bus and travel to Gold Hill Elementary each day. The district will shuttle students from Gold Hill to Tega Cay Elementary in the morning and return them to Gold Hill by shuttle in the afternoon to ride their assigned bus home.
