School Attendance Areas (Elementary, Middle, and High)
Attendance areas are defined as geographic boundaries around each school, which include specific residential addresses. Students are required to attend a specific school based on which geographic boundary their residence resides.
At the School Board meeting held November 5, 2024, the board voted to approve the administration’s recommendation for new attendance lines as submitted. The new attendance lines will go into effect for elementary schools beginning with the 2025–2026 school year and for the middle schools beginning with the 2026–2027 school year.
Online School Locator Tool
The GIS Department of York County, in partnership with York County school districts, provides an online school locator tool to assist in determining which schools are assigned to a particular address within York County. The tool will show the school assigned for the current school year (24-25) as well as the upcoming school year (25-26).
