Kindergarten Registration 26-27

2026–2027 School Year

Welcome to Fort Mill School District! We are excited to help your family prepare for Kindergarten. Below is a simple, step-by-step guide to completing registration and scheduling your child’s screening appointment.

Please note: Students currently enrolled in the FMSD 4K program will receive specific instructions on Kindergarten registration. 

Step 1: Begin Registration Online

Beginning March 2, you can access the link to Final Forms, our online registration system. 

To ensure your child’s application is received and processed successfully, please submit your registration after 8:00 AM on March 2. Any submissions made before this time may not be retained in our system

Step 2: Create a Parent Account

Note: If you already have a Final Forms account, you do not need to create a new one. Instead, you will log in and select "Add Student" to add a Kindergarten student. 

  1. Click the Parent icon.

  2. Select New Account.
  3. Enter your name, date of birth, and email address.
  4. Click Register.

You will receive an email within two minutes asking you to confirm your account.
• Check your spam folder if you do not see the email.
• If you still cannot locate it, email support@finalforms.com for assistance.

Please note: Students currently enrolled in the FMSD 4K program will receive specific instructions on Kindergarten registration. 

Step 3: Confirm Your Account

Open the email from FinalForms and click Confirm Your Account.
Then create your password and click Confirm Account.

 

Step 4: Register Your Student

After logging in:

  1. Click Register Student.
  2. Select "Next Year" to register for the 2025-2027 school year. (Blue button) 

     

  3. Complete each required form.
  4. Sign each form using your full legal name.

If you are registering more than one child:
• Click My Students
• Select Add Student
• Repeat the steps for each additional student

 

Step 5: Schedule Your Kindergarten Screening

Once you reach the “Finishing Up” page in FinalForms:

• Select the Kindergarten link.
• Schedule a screening appointment for April 1 or April 2.
• Choose the elementary school your child is zoned to attend.

Please bring all original required documents with you to the screening appointment.
