Certified Staff Technology Proficiency
Certificate renewal in Fort Mill School District previously corresponded with Certified Staff Technology Proficiency (CSTP). As a reminder, CSTP has gone through a significant transformation and has been replaced with the Technology Integration Goal-Based Coaching Cycle.
- The Technology Integration Goal-Based Coaching Cycle will satisfy the technology proficiency as outlined within the FMSD Strategic Plan.
- The mission of the Technology Integration Goal-Based Coaching Model is to provide teachers with individualized professional support in implementing innovative teaching practices that effectively integrate technology to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
- The coaching model will focus on personalized guidance and support tailored to your specific needs and goals. Our goal is to empower you to gain proficiency in using technology relevant to your role and leverage it effectively in your teaching and administrative roles. This coaching model is designed to support your growth, not add to your workload.
- The technology integration specialist assigned to your school will meet with you to explain how coaching cycles will work. We understand everyone's needs are different, so we'll work with you to create a plan that fits your schedule and goals.
- Be on the lookout for an email from your technology integration specialist for additional information.
- Educators will earn six renewal credits of professional development upon completing the coaching cycle, equivalent to one professional development day under the EAA.
