Welcome to Assessment and Accountability

  • This department oversees the administration of all state-mandated testing, as well as district testing. The district coordinator works with school test coordinators, precode coordinators, the technology department, and special services to ensure that appropriate test materials are received, and that testing protocols and appropriate accommodations are in place. Training and support is provided by school test coordinators to achieve valid and reliable test results.

    Accountability refers to state and federal ratings for schools and districts.  The district coordinator reviews and interprets information from the SC Department of Education and the Education Oversight Committee, conveys this information to school principals, and manages each submission of accountability data.
