2021-2022 Student Registration

Step 1 - Access the Online Registration Gateway Portal beginning on May 3. 

Click here or on the Registration Gateway graphic at the bottom of the page to begin registration.

To access Student’s account, use the following information:

Student ID #: You will receive an email with your student's ID number, the student ID is also visible on the top line of the parent/student portal.
Password: Enter your student’s birthday in MM/DD/YYYY format (must include slashes)

Step 2 – Complete the Online Process via Registration Gateway

Once signed into Registration Gateway, proceed through each screen.  Once all registration screens have been reviewed and completed, Registration Gateway will present a final review page. If everything is accurate, submit your registration.

If you recently enrolled your child in May at the kindergarten screening for the 2021/22 school year, registration is not necessary since your child is already registered for the next school year.

New this year for rising 6th and 9th grade students: As our district continues to grow and we are adding more schools to our district, we are working to ensure that all students are assigned to the correct school based on their residential address. As you go through the re-registration process for students that will be transitioning to the next school level, you will have the option to upload or send in a mobile capture of your current proof of residence.  If you have questions about acceptable documentation, please contact your child’s current school.

*Proof of Fort Mill Residency.  Acceptable documents include a deed, certificate of occupancy, closing statement indicating completion, a real estate tax receipt, or rental lease agreement with official signatures. Utility bills and vehicle property tax receipts are not accepted as proof of residency documents.


Step 3 – Pay Instructional Fee and other School Related Fees via the Pay Fees System 

Your child’s registration is NOT complete until fees have been paid via the Pay Fees System. 

Please note: Instructional Fees for your student(s) have been automatically added to your Pay Fees cart.
